Canon imagePROGRAF iPF Pro 1000 – Unboxing & Installation Sold that and I’m close to deciding getting the Canon as the replacement. After reading the profiles for the provided Canon papers (Pro Luster, Pro Semi-Gloss and Pro Premium Matte), I determined that the Luster and Semi Gloss are close enough to focus on the Pro Luster for the gloss category and the Pro Premium Matte paper for the matte category. (My conclusions: the most obvious difference is with Green, and that has a diminished impact on Cyan; the rest of it seems pretty much awash.). However, it's fairly safe to say that Canon Pixma Pro-100 is a more popular printer, based on its 70+ reviews. Look carefully and come to your own conclusions.
